What are your safety protocols for SUPVentureUs?Every SUPVenture starts with a safety orientation where we review SUP basics and water safety. Please inform us if this is your first time SUP'ing when you book your tour, so we can provide extra assistance. It is mandatory to wear your PFD (Personal Flotation Device) and leash at all times. Each PFD comes with a whistle as required by Oregon State Law. Anyone under 18 years old must wear an inherently buoyant PFD (vest), while those 18 and older can wear a belt PFD.

What is your Cancellation Policy?Cancellation Policy Refunds for all SUPVentures (except Escapes) will be given if: You cancel 48+ hours prior to session start Credits for all SUPVentures (except Escapes) will be given if: You cancel 47-24 hours or less prior to session start No refunds or credits will be given if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to session start. SUP Escape Cancellation Policy $75 Reservation Deposit: Fully refundable if canceled within 24 hours of booking. Balance Due: Full payment is required 30 Days prior to the SUP Escape start date. Refund Policy: Once the balance is paid, no refunds will be provided unless we are able to fill your spot. We will make every effort to fill canceled reservations but cannot guarantee success. Think of it like a concert ticket - once your spot is reserved and paid for, it remains yours whether or not you can attend. Unforeseen Circumstances: In cases beyond our control (forest fires, air quality issues, illness or injury etc), we will offer an alternative location or reschedule the Escape. Backup campground locations are typically booked as back up locations typically outside of "fire zones" In the event of illness or injury of the SUPVentureUs crew, the Escape will be rescheduled. Why this Policy? Significant time and expenses go into food, food prep, campsites, boards, and equipment. Last-minute cancellations impact our ability to cover costs and fill spots, especially since we may already be at the campsite with limited or no cell service. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Oregon Water Way Access Permit LinkIn the state of Oregon, if your board is 10' or longer you are required to have a Waterway Access Permit. SUPVentureUs has these permits for our boards. If you are using your own board and it meets the requirements, it is your responsibility to purchase a permit.

What should I wear for a SUPVenture? When the weather is fine and the water is warm, there is no better feeling than taking to the water in just your bathing suit or board shorts, with your bare feet gripping the deck pad to feel every movement of the board. However, this does not protect you from the sun, wind, or potential hazards. Depending on the weather and water conditions, consider adding to your wardrobe. Generally, clothing that breathes and doesn't inhibit your movement is perfect for casual paddleboarding. Don't forget sun protection like a hat and sunscreen.

How many people can go on one tour?Ideally, we will keep tours for groups of 8 or less, please contact us for larger groups.

What items should I bring for a SUPVenture? For your SUPventure, it's important to be prepared with the right items. Be sure to bring water, especially on hot days, to stay hydrated. Avoid bringing any glass containers for safety reasons. If we are going on a SUP Tour, you are welcome to bring snacks for the trip, and we may even make a stop along the shore for a picnic if you bring food (just make sure to avoid large coolers and reach out to us if you need assistance hauling the food). When it comes to footwear, it's a good idea to bring flip flops or sandals for when we get off the water, but it's recommended to paddle barefoot to ensure you can feel the board and maintain better balance. We want you to have an enjoyable and safe experience, so being mindful of these items will enhance your paddleboarding adventure with SUPVentureUs.
